All Neami service sites have been accredited by the Quality Improvement Council of Australia.
Neami believes that a commitment to continuous improvement supports the delivery of high quality service provision. The continuous improvement program within Neami ensures that:
- All services are planned, implemented and evaluated in a consistent manner
- All services meet the National Mental Health Standards for Psychiatric Disability Support and Rehabilitation Services and other relevant standards
- All services comply with accreditation standards and deliver positive and identifiable outcomes for consumers
A continuous improvement working group within Neami regularly meets to achieve the following aims:
- Keep continuous improvement on the agenda
- Monitor implementation of the Quality Work Plan
- Respond to suggestions for improvements or changes
- Ensure all continuous improvement actions are recorded
- Monitor annual compliance activities
- Convene working groups where required
- Develop and implement a communication strategy to alert all staff of changes and help to embed the changes
