Neami provides a variety of supported housing programs across Victoria, South Australia and New South Wales. In Victoria, Neami has nomination rights to social housing in the community. If a consumer identifies housing as a need, Neami staff in partnership with community housing providers will assist consumers to access long term housing where available.
The Housing and Accommodation Support Partnership (HASP) delivered in South Australia provides individualised outreach support, with the additional provision of housing. Housing is provided by a community housing provider and clinical support is provided by government mental health services, who are also the entry point to the service.
In New South Wales, the Housing and Accommodation Support Initiative (HASI) aims to assist consumers requiring accommodation to participate in the community and maintain successful tenancies. It is a partnership program between Neami, community housing providers, clinical mental health services and Housing NSW.
